Bring your own bike!
Maybe it's just me, but looking at the price for renting bikes I always figured that if I rent a bike for 4 days (or so) I could easily buy it at a shop for the same money...

wll, first of all, you sholud visit Denmark in the summer because winters are very, very cold. Nothing special, if you travel in winter- take lots of warm jackets.
In winter (which is even a bit longer than here in northern germany)definitely take a warm beenie with you, as well as other warm clothes. Aöso be prepared for rain at any time of the year.
The summer can be wet and windy! For the Roskilde Festival I recomend water-proof clothing and boots :-)and some lighter clothing of course for the dry and sunny spells
If you go there by car, rent a house and plan to stay for a while - bring as much food and drink as you can. It's really expensive there. I was shocked especially about broccoli prices ;-)
