While there MUST be many great restaurants in Denmark, I missed the experience. Since Denmark was a bit more expensive than other places in Europe, I was on a tighter budget and basically got groceries to make picnics from the day-to-day. This proved to be very satisfying.
Well, we came quite late in the evening, it was 21.00 and the kitchen was closed, but the nice guy at the bar, was willing to serve as 2 huge pizzas anyway and with a big smile on his face. We must have looked like lost tourist in the middle of the winter season.LOL Pizza and snacks
SPISELOPPEN ...Christiania.A very good restaurant with excelent food and a great atmosfære.Here you see hippies and yuppies starlets models and actors artists painters cannabisdealers eating in a very relax way sometimes with great dinnermusic. after the dinner you can smoke a JOINT and let our soul go back to the 60 and 70 s where it all start with the message of universal LOVE and UNDERSTANDING.

Restaurant - Faergen Sjaelland, this restaurant is located on a ship, you may enjoy the ocean view when taking your meal, seafood is excellent there. I suggest you to take dinner overthere to enjoy the sunset view, it's so romantic.Atmosphere is very good, most of the customers are travellers, you can meet friends all over the world. You can sing and dance during your meal.
Teaterkjælderen - The theatre cellar situated under the old theater in Copenhagen. It has a really charming atmosphere. You can enjoy an a la carte dinner before a show or a snack afterwards. The staff are apparently song students working to earn an extra buck. They entertain every once in a while - a capella or accompanied by guitar or accordian.
It was very expensive restaurant for me but I am not regretfull. Because it was pleasure to eat in that old (1740) restaurant, to look around.
Romeo & Julie is great for lunch. They have a pizza and pasta all you can eat buffet. They make the pasta by the order.I didn't like the pasta they had to offer, so I stuck with the pizza.
Nice environment, friendly staff, good food and affordable prices. What else can you ask for? The ribs! I loooooooove them.
i spent a funny evening on Nyhavn,Copenhagen in 1 of the many restaurants on the strip .the food wasen't memorable but the bill was!the setting be a worth.it's a must in Copenhagen, anyway.
