In Danmark you will get some of the very best soft-icecream on earth and they also serve it in a great way, covered with chocolate-icing, caocao like on my photo or with a large variety of other crispy and sweet ingredients, that they roll the icecone in.
You might think that Vanilla-icecream should taste the same all over the world, but I can assure you, Danish Vanilla-softice tastes very special and you cannot compare it with other recipees !
I bought mine on the main square, you will find about 10-15 places where this icecream is sold in Esbjerg !

One of the unique cultural features of Esbjerg is that the Danish people have the habit of getting drunk when possible.
I've seen them drinking heavily at seven o'clock in the morning at Billund airport,because alcohol there is half the price then in the local pubs.It's also normal to drink two or three bottles of Tuborg at lunch when the boss is paying. Good attitude.
