Probably this is the most extraordinary tourist spot I've ever seen in my life:-) As the story tells...
The Convent of St. Clara was founded in 1256 as a convent for nuns of the Franciscan order. The church had probably just been finished when, in 1302, the convent was completely destroyed by fire. After having been reconstructed the convent survived the Reformation as a home for unmarried ladies of noble rank. However, the buildings were pulled down in 1571. The ground plan is unknown.

The small town of ?m (Om and the O with a slash) lies only 6 km to the southwest of Roskilde. Near Om a Jaettestue or burial room is located near a little forest. Just follow the signs in the town. On the site, the process of building the Jaettestue is explained and you can check the interior of the burial hill yourself. Just bring a flashlight!
