I Roskilde restaurants tend to over-use the Italian flag.
It's not really Italian food they sell but low price pizza's with kebab.
If you want real Italian pizza in Roskilde there are a few places to go:
Bella Capri, Ringstedgade 15A - An italian making pizza in the old italian way for 35 years.
Casa Di Mama, Køgevej 1 - A new italian restaurant with italian background.
Kyllingesmeden, Sankt Ols Gade 22 - No italian background but they use italian ingredients.
Gusto giusto, Jernbanegade 19 - Italian fine dining which combines the classic italian food with the trattoria kitchen.
As a tourist it can be difficult to park your car in Roskilde!
Remember to take a good look at the signboard before you leave your car are you will get a 500 DKR ticket.
If you park your car at Stændertorvet and if there is a Market place the day after your car will be removed.
Take a look at the parking map of Roskilde.
.. theft, rapes and drugs Keep a lock on your tent, don't go alone at night and don't do drugs. Not only is it illeagal (you'll get your bracelet cut off), but you're also risking to pay too much money on stuff no stronger than tobaco. In general.. just watch out!
on the picture... eh... well..... too much alcohol I suppose :)
You're in the City of Springs and upon discovering a spring, you're likely to drink from one, right? Don't ! I was told that the springs are not as pristine as during King Ro's time ( that's Roskilde's founder for you) and most locals only dip their toes in them. Well, even if you don't believe me, never challenge the odds of having diarhhoea and not knowing how to say "toilet paper" in Danish.
