It is very tricky to get to Mon.
Please plan in advance if you need to be back the same day as there are not too many places to stay around close to the Cliffs.
Public Transport is expensive at 300 Kr, 40 Euro, 65 USD per head round trip.
Cars are even worse, about 200 USD rental per day without unlimited mileage!
So, there are not too many choices!

Take a print out to the central station and purchase tickets at the counter ( no international Credit Cards are accepted without pins / chip )
First you take a regional train to Vordingbord ( 1.45 hrs)
From Vordingbord to Stege ( 45 mnts )
Stege to Busene ( 50 mnts )
then walk to Mon ( 1.5 hrs trek + hike on good road + hike trails ) to reach beach one way.

Getting here is the tricky part. There are no trains on the island so you are left to buses or bikes if you don't have your own car. To be ctd.
