Flew in with SAS from Amsterdam. They was excellent, because I was in Business I had more room than the people in coach. The quick meal on the plane was sufficent with the short flight. Flying is the quickest, but from must places in Europe you can travel there by Car, Train or even Bike (if you wish). Ferries travel from Copenhagen to Sweden, Norway, Finland,England & Ierland. Buses and taxis are available to take you from place to place. Biking or Moterbike is also a good way during the summer. A rental car would be helpful for going outside the city, but they are expensive. There are orginized tours and you can get information from the tourist office and from the hotel informtion centers. If you are in Denmark it is a good idea to rent a bicycle in the towns. Although there are some hills (not many though), it is fairly easy to ride a bicycle in the "flat land". There are special paths to ride bicycles beside the roads, and even bicycle lights (like traffic lights). It is also a good idea to ride bicycles between towns and see the beautiful, green, danish landscape. Leave a Comment Theme: Bicycle

The roads in Denmark are fantastic! With a decent bike one can easily go 30km/h... and as the islands aren't that big thats fast enough to get around(for me). btw. I think it's best to bring ones own bicycle or buy one as renting one can easily get more expensive... Theme: Bicycle

In greater Copenhagen you can transfer freely between buses, trains and the New Metro using the same ticket and discount cards. Just keep within the zones your ticket is valid for. There are coloured maps that show you which zones there are. Leave a Comment Theme: Subway/Metro
