The island is low lying with a series of isolated, high hills, where the highest Kongshøj (Kings-mount), with its burial mount on top rises 30 meters above the water offers a nice picnic spot on a summers day.

Fishing for some hours brought our company of 4 grownups and a baby fish for dinner with no problems. The costal fishing in Denmark requires a fishing licence (140 DDK) (if you are age 18-65) you can buy via. The link in this tip. Or at the postal office at the local shop Dagli´brugsen (155 DDK). We pumped sandworms for bate ourselves and there where plentiful.

The are two bee-keepers on the island and I can only recommend the honey from this location even if it was on the pricy side 35 DDK for 450g. The summer honey is almost white, creamy and mild in taste.
