If you are touring Lahemaa National Park and pass by, stop and see the place. The manor is located on the western border of the park, not far from the Tallinn-Narva highway.
A visit to Kolga can be done in 15 minutes. Walk the grounds and try to imagine the buildings with fresh plaster and paint.
The entrance hall of the manor can be entered. The remains of stucco and paint and the staircase give, again if you use your imagination, an idea of its past glory and beauty. The upper floors cannot be accessed, the staircase is blocked with a wooden wall.
The history of Kolga, once the largest estate in the whole of Estonia, is explained on www.manor.ee
