This bar was situated at Viru Hotel where we stayed. It also served as a Mexican restaurant. There was nothing that stood out really but it was a cosy, sociable enough place to enjoy a drink before we went out and before we went to bed. Actually it was good for one when we had returned from looking round the town as well during the day.
Dress Code: None that I could see.

From old town, the tallest building you will see is 5 mins walk away.
At first glance, this is a trendy hotel.
However, if you need to escape the stag parties, and English hoards, then head to the hotel for a pleasant surprise.
Inside, venture to the first floor to find a huge lounge bar (Marco Polo Bar), that has Karaoke.
Mostly Estonians, singing Estonian songs, the whole place goes wild for English songs by crazy English men. We had amazing fun, singing each and every one of the 10 Englsih songs in the catalogue (ok, there are a few more than 10).
When the party has ended, head down to the hotel basement (Amigo Club), and for a small fee, you will find a huge nightclub with live bands, and a range of quality classic music. What makes this place so great is the lack of tourists. This is a locals club for local people. They were very welcoming to 3 English lads, and we stayed here until the early hours.
There is also a rooftop bar open in summer, but we didn't venture up top.

It is a while since i been to Tallinn in Estonia - but i think it was called Hotel Viru - where the nighclub is underneath
It certainly is a very good nightlub and is certainly on British standards as to what a nightclub should be
It was very lively last time i was here
There was excellent range of drinks including cocktails.
When ordering Vodka you got excellent measures - but it is probably changed now and everything is measured
Try the Finlandia Lime flavoured Vodka or Smirnoff with Vanilla - of course you can get all these in England now in places like Revolution.
I also stayed in the Hotel here once and had a Waterbed - whayheaay - i found my sea legs again

Both times I have been here the place has been very crowded. For the most part people are foreign businessmen and local women. Place is big and looks good. As no surprise drinks are expencive. In my oppinion the music is just terrible. Last time there, there was a live band playing Abba in Estonian language! Only in the end of the evening the DJ played some bearable music.
The club is open till half past four.
