Juuksur means Hairdressers in Estonian, so don't be surprised to find seats taken straight from a hairdressing salon, complete with hair drying helmet, in this cosy little cellar bar. It's a popular place, and attracts a young bohemian crowd that wouldn't look out of place in an art college. I liked it.
Dress Code: Relaxed.
On my second day in Tallinn, this was the place where we started our pub tour through Tallinn’s old town. Juuksur is located in a cellar and so it is no surprise that the atmosphere can be best described as dark and spartanic. At this place, you will meet young, alternative-style people. Sometimes, live rock music is played, but unfortunately not at the time being there. I don't remember the exact price of drinks, but I know that I considered the prices to be fair. Nice place to drink a beer or two!
Dress Code: No poshy place, so no dresscode required. Just don't show up naked :)
