    Hesburger: Fast Food Finnish Style

by antistar Updated Jun 3, 2013

Much to my girlfriend's annoyance, I insisted on trying out the Finnish rival to McDonald's: the Hesburger chain. They have restaurants all over Scandinavia and the Baltics, and their line-up is similar to what you'd expect in any of the American outlets, like Burger King. The food is also very tasty, and seems to be lacking some of the more pernicious artificial flavours you can expect elsewhere.

My girlfriend thinks burger bars are just for kids, but sometimes I just can't resist a quick, greasy burger, and Hesburger fills a gnawing hole as well as any other.

Hesburger: Fast food with no fuss

Hesburger is the Finnish equivalent of McDonalds. Enough said then. It's just like any American burger chain but without the irritating 'Have a nice day!' tagline.

Favorite Dish: They like to slather on the mayo at Hesburger. That tends to make a Hesburger meal a sloppy but tasty affair!
