Most of the restaurants i looked in the old town were clearly tourist places, with very little local atmosphere, and all with very high prices. Therefore, I chose the local McDonalds.
It was everything you know, and can expect. Not much more to say.

On Viru Street, there is a McDonald's. Mostly out of curiosity, I stopped in one evening and had a small meal. Yes, it's the same fast food as in the USA. Curiously, this restaurant in Old Town Tallinn always seemed to be crowded. While there, I asked some young people why they thought McDonald's was so popular. Not surprisingly, they cited the low prices and the fast service.
What can I say? This restaurant chain is everywhere on this planet. But it can be really easy to have a meal up here.

I was on a Fred.Olsen cruise, so there was plenty of (inclusive) food on the ship, so I didn't go inside McDonalds.
