by Gili_S Tallinn (or Estonia in general) has very nice beaches, good wind also for wind surfing and sailing. The Moscow 1980 Olympic competition was here, and also the world championships last year.
Don't look at this bad weather picture, I was just on the wrong day here. Leave a Comment Theme: Surfing

I was told that the A. Le Coq Arena is the home of the Estonian national football team (soccer in the States), but I did not visit there on my trip. They also have concerts there, including Aerosmith in July 2007. Since the arena is named after A. Le Coq beer (my favorite in Tallinn), it must be a great place!

by bonio FC Flora, currently in the Estonian first division and play in the Le Coq arena. (same as the national team) The visitors were Tammeka from Tartu. a crowd of around 250 only in a stadium which must hold well over 10000 was a sad sight, the quality of football was not bad and the price to enter ? 40 Krooni around 2GBP or 3USD/ € good value. Also beer and tasty food on sale. For the record a 3 - 0 home win. Leave a Comment

by bonio Home of Estonia's national football team and FC Flora, also to music events too I believe. Named after and presumably paid for by one of the largest brewers in Estonia. Modern and comfortable, a good place to watch any event. Leave a Comment Theme: Sports WatchingAddress: TehnikaDirections: 5 -10 minute walk from the old town.

LaserClay shooting is great fun, five people can shoot clays and electronic scoreboard keeps score of fasted and best shot, safe for all the family as fires harmless infrared beams instead of bullets. Archery shooting with expert instructors and special field course
All equipment supplied, just need sturdy shoes and warm clothes if weather is cold Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Kajamaa, south of Tallinn near Saku villagePhone: +372-508-7079Directions: 5 min drive from Saku village\ beer factoryWebsite: www.targetsm.com Other Contact: +372-555-17077

Unfortunately, my work schedule keeps me away from Tallinn, and my wife, for 2 months at a time... when I am home I like to go to a gym in order to keep fit. Although there are many gyms in Tallinn, there are only a couple that will allow you to pay as you go. I would say to steer clear of all of the gyms in town except Club 26 at the Reval Hotel Olympia. Although this is not the most well-equipped fitness facility I have ever been to, it has enough equipment to keep you busy, and the price is not bad either.
