Spending time in Johvi it is worth to do side trips. One of the places is Kukruse whrere nicely restored manor and park are situated.
Kukruse locates close to Johvi - 3 min drive by car on highway or about 10 min by city bus (Johvi - Kohtla-Jarve bus).

Kohtla-Järve is a city located 10 km from Johvi. It is an industrial city that grew during Soviet time. Kohtla-Jarve has lots of examples of Soviet architecture. City is not very modern, not similar to Johvi.

Situated in North-Estonia. Johvi is the capital of Ida-Virumaa county. The population is about 14000. Town is lively and there are many people - town locates side by side with Kohtla-Jarve (Ahtme)......
