    Vana Mölder tavern restaurant near the centre of city. Interesting thing about this restaurant is that it is very Soviet style. Probably this simple interior is originally from Soviet era.
    The waiter of tavern is a simple russian man in about 60's.

    You can choose dishes from menu. Main dishes are 5-12 EUR.
    And you can order Day offer (Dishes of today). It is more cheaper.

    On the castle territory you can see statue of Vladimir Lenin that was brought here from some main city square in Narva or some other Estonian town after fall of Soviet regime/CCCP.
    In begining of 90-s statues of Soviet hero Lenin were deinstalated from the city centres and mostly destroyed.

    Lenin in Narva, only 1 in Estonia?

  • Old Estonian cemetery

    Cemetery is istuated to the north from Narva on the way to Narva-Joesuu. This is an old cemetery of Estonians before World War II. In much of "new" - cemeteries after war period in Narva are thombs mostly of Russians. Postwar Narva is populated mostly by Russians/russian speaking people.There are lots of old tombs, crosses in the cemetery.

    Favorite thing: On the right bank of river Narva stronghold of Ivangorod stands. Stronghold was built by Russian czar Ivan III in 1492 with the objective of protecting the eastern border of Russia.
    The castle was established to massive limestone rocks.
    In the honour of czar it was named Ivangorod, in English "Ivantown".
