Favorite thing: Poltsamaa is a lovely Estonian smalll town with a romantic flavour. It used to be the residence of the king of Livonia in 1500s. It also used to be an important centre of the national awakening and the enlightenment era. Now it is known for the wine making, a big rose garden, and summer events in the castle yard, beautiful river and many bridges, a rose island on the river in the centre of the town, a new sculpture park and older parks.
