So there exists a kind of Museum on the island. It is interesting, i think you should check it out! There are houses renovated in old lifestyle way. You can go to one of the shops or ask in a bar for tourist guide, his name is Koyt (or something like that). He is extremely nice and will answer all questions! Really great guy!

In the main village - Hullo - there is a really cute little church, which is definitely worth a visit. Also notice the small details!!!

  • Not as morbid as it sounds :)

When in Vormsi, definitely take a tour around the local cemetery in the village of Hullo. The round gravestones date back to the 17-18 centuries and create a very ancient and sort of holy feeling. A nice and interesting activity - looking for the oldest stone, looking for names etc.

  • Ruins of Orthodoxy Church

It has been a beautiful church, but now it's decomposes...what a shame. Apostolic Orthodoxy community was founded in Vormsi on 1886 and there was 500 persons in it. This Russian Orthodox Church was finished to Hullo at 1889 and functioned only 34-40 years. Already in 1937 there was no more services and windows were covered with laths.

  • Bikes

The best way to see whole island is to rent bikes! Really it will be great experience for you! You can rent them at HulloTrahter. Prices are ok, but bikes are real disaster! Anyway you can check it out! :) Greatest thing you can do with bikes is just to wander around for whole day, go from one side of the island to another and chill out ;)

In the end of June there is big Midsummer festival here, which is very famous! It is behind HulloTrahter. There is a big fire there, some local bands playing; you should bring your own beer or what ever you prefer! You can dance, go on that huge swing, which was quite amazing for me! Meet of course all the locals and have really great time. You should go there! Really it is very famous! Nothing special, but it is great way to feel real life on this beautiful island!

Miscellaneous: You should have battery - i was desperate for one :)! Also if you dont have some really active friends, take a good book.

The best is to go there with bikes! Really, you can buy map of the island in the Hullo Kauplus (one of the shops). There you can see the lighthouse. It sounds pretty funny, i know :) But there are just those small and funny things! Anyway you can really enjoy it because the coast is so beautiful. Also there is a path, you will be able to see it on...
