Club Hollywood: NIGHTTIME!

by totthe

If you want to have fun and party like there is no tomorrow, pick this one! Club Hollywood is a trendy and popular nightclub in Tallinn, frequented by an upscale crowd of locals and tourists alike. It is located very conveniently at the edge of old town and is close to the main bar circuit and old town square. The club accommodates up to a thousand people, features state of the art sound and light, funky lighted colourful dancefloor and a full wall video screen. MEN: Dress according to season. There is no great restrictions but don't pick beach trousers or sandals. LADIES: Pretty much anything goes. Dress according to season too.

Casino Olympic, Tallinn: Have fun at slot machines!

by hopang

The city of Tallinn is dotted with lots of casinos offering games of slot machines. Casino Olympic is the largest chain of casinos in Tallinn in particular and Estonia in general. Other popular chains of casinos in Tallinn include the City Casino and the Casino Grand Prix. Most casinos open to the public for 24 hours during the weekends, weekedays perhaps up to 5.00 a.m. in the morning. Please remember to bring along your passports before entering casinos. The reception staff at the casinos will register your personal details from your passports as required by the Estonian law. Unlimited refreshments such as coffee or tea are served free-of-charge to gamblers in most of the casinos in the city of Tallinn. It is absolutely ok to try your luck especially when you are on vacation in a foreign land! Decent clothing is required.

Tired of the bars?

by picklegirl

If you're craving a mellow evening, head to the Coca-Cola Plaza behind the central post office where you can catch a movie (in either Estonian or English). Be sure to enquire before buying your ticket, as to what lanuguge the movie is in. ;-) The ticket was high; for the same price I could have seen two shows at the concert hall. You'll be issued an assigned seat, and from what I could tell, people stuck to their assignments. (Shh, don't tell anyone, but as the room was only 1/4 occupied, I changed my seat ;-) I know, shame shame. The buttom of the Coca-Cola Plaza contains a internet cafe. This is the place to touch base with friends back home or to plan out your next day's events. Note: the toliet here is not free, you'll need a coin to insert into the door.

In the summertime... outdoor nightlife

by diamond7

You could find many nightclubs and discos in Estonia. Anyway, in case you are in summertime or in a spring weekend I think the best way to enjoy the nighttimes is just the outdoor atmosphere. If you are in Tallinn, for example, the Hall Square and around, as Viru street, are really very good chooses. For the example of Tallinn, there are very pleasant streets with lots of lovely bars, restaurants, and pubs, just in the old town.

Sunset Club: Clubbing

by bronzelotus

This was an unexpected find in Parnu, Estonia. we were there for the Summer Arts shin dig, and i happened to stubble across this club. we were there from thursday to the following saturday, so i was able to play there 2 fridays in a row. it was great both nites. they both had music playing inside adn a outside stage with the sea as a backdrop... for live dance music...like ian van dahl. drinks are fairly pricey...but it's ok...not like you have to be terribly drunk to enjoy. the estonian guys there are vultures...and the ladies are scantly dressed...very thin and sexy. the second nite i went they have a bikini themed nite...inside: excellent drum and bass and light show. outside:guest DJ's, light show, and foam party. it was a great time...danced the nite away until dawn! well, actually it never really gets dark there during the summer...the sky is a royal blue at 1am-2am...never pitch...

by Lodestar

There are very many different pubs, bars, restaurants, clubs etc. in Tallinn as well as in all the larger towns. My favourite pob in Tartu for example is Wilde, and my favourite club - Tallinn. In Tallinn my own favourite pub is Von Krahl and the most popular club either Hollywood or Bon Bon. In any city or town you could just stop any young guy or girl on the street and ask the person to suggest something and I doubt that you will get two same answers :). So anyway - you'll have plenty of things to do.

St.John's day (Jaanipäev)

by Evka

Every summer on June 23, is held the St.John's day (Midsummer Day -Jaanipäev). It is usually (it depends on weather) open-air party, that lasts all night and the night is ''white''.From late May to the middle of July the night is as bright as early morning or evening. It is called ''White nights'' Warm clothes and the bonfire is required

When you want to dance in...

by Katariinaw

When you want to dance in Tallinn, i would suggest Decolte club or club Hollywood and you can dance night away!!!!!When you want to dance while listening live band then you should try Amigo Club in Viru Hotell or Guitar Safari in Old town..also in both places you can eat and drink as much as you can :)))))Nice pubs i like are Molly Malone in Town Hall Square and Kloostriait in vene street. In Molly Malone you can just chill out while listening band and drinking beer and Kloostriait is best place to meet new people!

The best way for nightlife is...

by silence

The best way for nightlife is starting with some bar in Old town(centre of city) and after go to disko or disko-bar. if you want to go out, you have to dress something comfortable and elegant, but not so official. It may be nice trousers or skirt and else what you want. In general it's your fantasy with general rule: no formal (especially for girls).

by blue-viggen

There is a techno club called 'Hollywood' in the main town which every body knows and you cannot fail to find,,,here is the websitehttp://www.club-hollywood.ee/ Banging Techno beats and assured a good night and relatively inexpensive as clubs go...The age group varies alot and so does the nationality on the weekdends I have spent there most people are either local or from Finland they tend to hop accross the small sea crossing and take advantage of the cheaper alcohol prices,,, not too slow on the uptake are the Finnish and Swedes,, though when I finally talked to some natives they were a little less than happy with the idea of the Finnish people driving accross on the ferries at the weekends and doing all their grocery shopping then filling their huge 4wd cars up with cheaper petrol and scuttling off back over to Finland,, I guess the stark contrast in money and spending habbitts can...
