Favorite thing: The island of Saaremaa isn't very big but has a lot to offer. Main town is Kuresarre - here you find all shopping possiblities - a mall, several small stores and a lot of cafés and restaurants. Form this town it takes not more then one hour to almost every point on the island.

Favorite thing: My friend and I didn't want to drive to Tallinn on a Sunday so we tought better to go to a beach. On our road map we discovered this island. It was one of our best ideas during our holidays.
Hardly anyone on the beach, sunny weather and mild temperatures. Most of the day we strolled along the coast and gathered some shells.

Favorite thing: the nature of Saaremaa Island is like in norway. The island is callen as a small Norway. There are 2 famous things in Saaremaa: junipers and dolomite stones. Dolomite stones are everywhere.

Fondest memory: The grandiouse view is to the Pammana gulf from Panga climbes.

Favorite thing: It is a local "secret" that from spring to autumn there is a lovely ferry connection between the 2 largest islands of Estonia - Saaremaa and Hiiumaa.
So, when visiting one, it is easy to continue your travel on the other island before returning to the mainland. Both islands are slightly different. From Saaremaa you can also reach to other neighbouring islands. See www.saaremaa.ee for more info.

Fondest memory: The hazy and light summer nights in June, when your dreams just fly ...
