Saaremaa is more than Kuressaare and Panga cliffs - the northern part of island is full of interesting places. Sõrve peninsula is one of such kind of plcaces. The most impressive object is the black-white lighthouse. It was a pitty, we came late and the lighthouse was closed. Probably it has the same working hours like other lighthouses in Estonia: 10.00-18.00 every working day. I'm not sure about weekends. Don't miss the restaurant near the parking place!
Kassari is an island in the South of Hiiumaa, it is connected with by two dams west and east from Käina. Kassari is a nice untouched nature paradise with interesting vegetation and wildlife.
As Saaremaa is a very flat island it is very popular to go there for biking holiday and/or for trekking........a lot of people bring their bikes there. So we did to do that!!
A most beautiful stony coast and view to the Baltic Sea (from the West coast of Saaremaa), peace and quiet!!
