Hunting on Saaremaa
Hunting is very popular on Saaremaa with Estonians and people from many other EU countries because it is cheap compared to other EU countries.Saaremaa and Hiiumaa are also the only places in Estonia that you can hunt for Red Deer(Punahirv).Unfortunatly even in Estonia a trophy Red deer will cost you upwards of $4000 not including the cost of the guide and other expenses.Other animals that can be hunted on Saaremaa and in EstoniaElk(Moose in America)(poder)Boar(metssega)Roe Deer(kits)Fox(rebane)Rabbit(kuulik)Wolf(hunt)Birds(see my entry in Rakvere about more hunting tips in Estonia.
