Lot of walking

by Siil

Biring a backpack but don't put your money in it better you put it in your front pocket Bring really comfy shoes as the old town demands lot of waliking if you like to see all the cool stuff There is no need to bring any Medical suplies as there are lots of farmacys around town and suplies are quite cheep For photo equipment you dont need to bring the films but you better have a good camera as there are some great views Sumer time bring some swimming clothing as there are three beaches in city but plz dont leav your things alone on beach Drinking (alcohol) isn't allowed in public places, but you can do it in bars and street caffes.

Things you might need if you follow my tips

A rucksack for your goodies and souvenirs Some reasonably stout shoes for walking on those old town cobbles Take some binoculars for picking out landmarks from the high viewing platforms and towers which I recommend in 'Things To Do'. A zoom lens for your camera would be useful as well as a night time filter to capture the city when/if it gets dark (which it won't in Midsummer).

Tallinn is so picturesque

Don't forget your camera and some extra films in order to be able to take photos of the city's wonderful perspectives. (Or for the 'modern' ones among us: Don't forget to make sure the camera is fully charged!) But in any case: Do not forget to pack your PASSPORT, you will need it and you'll get nice stamps...

Don’t forget packing MORE TIME before coming…%c

Time !!! In your Packing list put more time to stay in Tallinn! It’s not a joke it’s real. Any person who is visiting this town at first time can’t mind how much fascinated it is, so resolve to stay a short period as Tallinn isn’t a very famous tourist destiny, but when arrives in Tallinn the most of people would like to spend more time there. So my advise is: when you decide going to Tallinn and the number of days you want to spend there you may ad 1 or 2 days more.

Leave the high heels at home ladies!! The roads are all cobblestone and you run the serious risk of twisting or spraining an ankle trying to walk down them in pumps!By the way, if you are here on a romantic getaway and forgot those 'Special' clothes ladies, there seems to be a VERY high concentration of lingerie shops here... Tallinn may be Eastern Europe and it may be a city that many of you have never heard of (I know I hadn't until I moved to Moscow) but anything you could want is available here!
