Very interesting Lake Museum is located in one wing of the Limnology Centre.

You can get a very good overview about organisms which are living in Estonian inland waters.
There are aquariums in museum where you can see 26 inland water fish species. Also some fish fossils found around the Lake Võrtsjärv are very interesting.

So fishes whitch are living in the lake are : perca, anguille, pike, carp, acerin, pikeperch, bream, burbat and many more.

Museum opening hours: Mon-Fr 10.00 - 18.00
Sat 11.00 - 18.00
Sun 11.00 - 16.00
