Cafes on Tito Street
The heart of the city is the Tito Street. Take a walk there and enjoy coffee in one of the numerous cafes.
Main street (Sirok Sokak)
This is the main street in Bitola, always crowded, shops on each side of the street, tourists walking, taking photographs....
Which came first?
The color of the house or the color of the flowers? This picture is a reminder that it is important to look up. The bottom of the building is ordinary, but the top is enchanting:)
Thanking their heroes ..
This plaque on the clock tower is thanking the soldiers from the Bitola region for their sacrifices in the "war of liberation" -- it was placed during the socialist era.

A unique house in Bitola
Bitola was never the capital on Macedonia, but it has always played a large role in cultural life and international relations. Many countries had consulates in Bitola.
Stroll "Shirok Sokak" -- the wide street
The street runs from near the stone clock tower. It IS wide and a great place for people-watching. The tall buidling on the right is the Bitola Catholic Church. Unfortunately it wasn't open.
