Nestlled in the slopes of Belasica mountain, hidden in the dense folliage is Smolare Watterfals.
The name comes from the nearby vilage of Smolare.
To get to the watterfals, you can drive past Strumica to the Smolare village some 20km away. Car can be parked at the top of the vilage and from there there is about 20 min hike into the depths of the mountain to find the watterfals. They are clearly marked so you can not get lost.
Also there is local bus wich regulary connects vilage of Smolare with Strumica.
Many Macedonians, specilay childern on school trips visit this hidden gem of breathtaking nature.
