My girlfriend and I visited the small picturesque fishing village of Radozda from nearby Struga during our trip to Macedonia in March 2012.
We took a taxi from Struga to Radozda (a journey of a little under 10km and costing 300 MKD) and had intended to take a taxi back to Struga.
However, we had over-estimated the size of Radozda and the ease with which we would be able to find a taxi. As we were visiting in the off-season, there was little if any traffic passing through Radozda during the time we were there. The only taxi we saw was parked up in the shade beside a house and there was no sign of a driver.
Luckily, we found the friendly owners of Dva Biseri restaurant outside their property undertaking maintenance work. We asked them where we could find a taxi and they offered to call one for us. Then they checked the time and realised that we were in luck – the 2:30pm minibus to Struga was due in a few minutes and would stop to pick us up outside their restaurant.
We purchased tickets from the driver (40 MKD (£0.50) each) and were back in Struga a little over 10 minutes later.
We got off the minibus outside the Admiral restaurant on Vlado Maleski close to the shore of Lake Ohrid, although the minibus was carrying on into the centre of town.

While visiting the town of Struga in March 2012, we decided to make a side trip to the fishing village of Radozda close to the Albanian border.
The bus service was infrequent (and we didn't know where to catch one) so we flagged down a taxi on Vlado Maleski, the main street running west along the edge of Lake Ohrid.
The dilapidated old taxi didn't have a meter so we agreed a fee of 300 MKD (£4) in advance with the driver.
The journey of a little under 10km was completed in a little over 10 minutes, much of which was along a heavily potholed track road that ran along the edge of Lake Ohrid parallel to a better quality road.
The driver dropped us off outside the Dva Biseri restaurant at the entrance to the village and the foot of the steps that lead up to Saint Archangel Michael cave church.
Note:
We over-estimated the size of Radozda and the ease which with we could get a taxi back to Struga. We were visiting in the off-season and there was practically no traffic passing through Radozda while we were there. There was a taxi parked up on the drive of a house in Radozda, but no sign of a driver. We were beginning to get a little concerned as to how we would get back to Struga. Thankfully, the friendly owners of the Dva Biseri restaurant were outside their property carrying out maintenance work. We asked them where we could find a taxi and they were about to phone for one for us when they realised that we were in luck and the 2:30pm minibus to Struga would be along in just a few minutes. We caught the minibus back at a cost of 40 MKD each.
