Svinoy does not have much to offer. It is a small town of around 15 people. We spoke with two women who where on the island to visit relatives and they told us a bit about Svinoy. One of the ladies husband is from Svinoy. His mother lived on the island for 102 years. 'She has never missed anything in life', she told us.
If you take the boat it is already great to see how this works. How someone with truck and dog comes to pick up the mail, and also a whole box of milk cartons. It is just great!
