The capitol and main harbor of Faroe Islands. The name Torshavn means “A harbor of Thor”, but nothing remains of the god of thunders here. It’s a lovely city with the colorful houses, pleasant harbor, Vidarlund park (!)…great place for slowly walks. |

| Litla Dimun | | |

Litla Dimun is the smallest of the 18 Faroe Islands - and the only uninhabited island. Amazingly, sheep are grazed here though. It's not possible to actually visit the island, but you sail past it on the ferry to Suđuroy, and you should get some pretty spectacular views of both Litla Dimun and it's slightly bigger neighbour Stora Dimun. |

in the Faroe islands alot of what you do depends on you using your imagination, there's not alot to do in front of you but if you put in a bit of effort and thought into it you can have an amazing stay. the first thing you should do is meet some of the people there. they are all incredible and lovely and very willing to show you how to have an incredible time in the faroe islands. you should definatly stay in torshavn the capital but visit other places too. like sorvagur. it's amazing for walkers, climbers, photography and just relaxing. |
