This is an old forge which was bought by the City Council of Torshavn and converted into an art gallery.

The church in Torshavn was built in 1788. It was extended and rebuilt in 1865 with the steeple being erected over the front of the church. Lutheran services are being held here.

Tórshavn is really a cultural town. You will find statues everywhere! Just walk through town and I am sure you will find several of these statues.
Most statues are of famous Faroese people.

Tinganes is the old town of Torshavn. It is near the harbour and has some nice small streets to walk through!!
