Helsinki has quite lively nightlife at every day of the week. Of course most lively at weekends, but you can find people hanging out at every day, and wednesday is called "little saturday" at Finland, and quite popular day to go out, especially for students. For us, nightlife means concerts ( in Nosturi, Tavastia, Bar Loose..) or going to good pubs (like Kaisla, Villi Wäinö, Bruuveri..) so I needed to do some research for finding Nightclubs. Most popular nightclubs (voted by locals) at 2012 were DTM, Le Bonk, Apollo, On The Rocks (That one I have been in also!) and Cuba. Pubs are mostly open until 2 a.m. (Kaisla until 3 a.m. weekends) and nightclubs until 4 a.m. (It´s lates time allowed in Finland).

I'm biased because Helsinki is the city where I was born, so I'm only going to praise it for the most part. Although I no longer live in Helsinki nor have I done for the most part of my life,...
