One of the six Nepalese restaurants in Helsinki. I love this food and especially in the lunch time you can make a good deal in the Nepalese restaurants.
Of the Nepalese restaurants in Helsinki Himalaya is a bit more expensive than the others. As the interior or the staff is less attractive I don't count Himalaya among my faves. Interior is a bit dark and sometimes music is a bit too loud (I prefer very silent music).
But if you haven't ever tried Nepalese kitchen Himalaya is definately worth visiting. Because there's nothing to complain about the food.
Favorite Dish: Try any of the Kofta -things. Delicious vegetarian balls!
At the lunch time the dishes from 7.10 euros.

Not as good as the many other Indian/Nepalese restaurants in Helsinki, but will do anyway.
Favorite Dish: Sahi Panir: Cottage cheese in tomato-butter-creamsauce. Vegetables and beans are included.

19/1 Just returned from Helsinki

We only had 4 hours in Helsinki. Good enough for lunch, some shopping and a long walk. Dark falls early and in that twilight, this church on Senate square becomes a fairy tale.
