Same place, nothing special, slow service, average food, the menu is basic but the location is good. I basically only drink here in the summer terrace to meet friends and go somewhere better afterwards. This cafe, nite club, sushi bar and restaurant complex is partly owned by former formula 1 driver Mika Salo, who can be spotted there. The food is ok, nothing special though, especially considering the price. The tiny nite club is fairly popular with salsa club on wednesdays. Even now, after 2 years after opening, the dining restaurant is so popular that you should book ahead. So there must be something about it... But the terrace is a must on sunny summer days!

Eatz is a huge place with a café, several bars, a sushi bar, a restaurant and a club area. The decor is colorful and a bit crazy, with asian influence and mosaic on tha walls and staircase. The food is a bit 'crazy' too as they have 4 different menus, indian, thai, mexican and italian, with a couple of appetizers and 4-5 main courses each. A great way to sample many things, and avoid a fight with your friends when everyone wants something different. If it's authenticity your looking for it's better to head off to specifically italian, indian etc. restaurants, but the food is quite good and the athmosohere is just great.
The sushi bar is supposed to be amazing too, the only of it's kind in helsinki offering good sushi fast and cheaper than japanese restaurants. F1-driver Mika Salo is a co-owner of the restaurant and his wife is japanese and apparently has a lot to do with the sushi bar turning out so great.
I've only tried their thai vegetable noodels which were good, but not amazing. My freind LOVED their indian curry (I can't remember which one she had...). Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: The corner of Kaisnaniemenkatu and Mikonkatu. Big glass windowns and signs in red, you can't miss it

The restaurant had just opened when I went.There is a wide range of food to choose from and the type of food available is Italian, Tex.Mex, and Indian.
The service leaves something to be desired but the food was good and prices were reasonable

My husband and I went to Eatz, before going to a movie. He had a Leningrad Cowboys Burger, me the Nachos with all kinds of dips and cheeses etc. First it took 50 minutes before we were served our food, we barely had time to eat it before the show started, so we didnt want to complain that it was all cold. It also was of poor quality. Worst of all though, we both spent two days in bed, with diarrhea, vomiting, and a fever - of course you never know if it was that food, but it is highly probable, as we had nothing else to eat or to drink that night.
Thats what made this restaurant a special place for us

This restaurant is really unique. You can order food from alot's of different cultures there. There's an australian bar and a sushiside of the restaurant. You can also get portions for 2 persons or more. Their wines are great, and the restaurant is one of my favourite.
The sushi is made on demand, so it's really fresh. Meatdishes are also great, and the shrimpcoctail starter is wonderful. This is actually an international hodge-podge of specialties: you could get pizza, sushi, fajitas, a juice roast beef, you name it. Nice people working there, very friendly, and the service was relatively fast. Pricey? Well, average for Finland, I guess.
Only tried the fajitas.

a very nice restaurant when you are with a large group of friend and you cant decide what kind of food you want to it.
the menu include so many different foods: asiatic, mexican, spanish, oriental...
big portions again!
nice place and decoration.

and downstairs is more like a café, can be very nice too during the day.

 Eatz by night by Jarra
There are many different kind of kitchens where to choose in Eatz but the texmex is a great pick. I took a sweet potato chowder with canjun shrimp as a starter and it was really good. Enough spicy, you know. Then I had a Texas BBQ beef. That was soooo gooood and also it was very big portion. I ended up my evening with Mojito.
