Gili_S Says: This is probably the worst camp site I saw in Finland so far, I’m glad I did not really needed to use it.
Even if it doesn't look like much from the outside, this place is popular and famous for their big and tasty buns, pastries and cakes. So if in the neighbourhood pop in for a cup of coffee and test for instance their korvapuusti buns. Also lunch soups and salads are served.

Helpfulness
Through out the center of town, there's a walking and shopping area called Promenade Janne. The name refers to the national composer of Finland, Jean Sibelius. Anyway, there are many shops here and you can buy anything from food to clothes & shoes to household appliances. There's also a mall at the lake end of this promenade.

There is the beautiful Tuusula Lake here which is rather large lake, it is usually windy and good conditions for water sports as sailing and wind surfing.

Nothing special to tell you about Järvenpää, it is just another average town, so if you are not going to the Järvenpää blues festival during the summer, then you probably have nothing to do here.
