It's not a very big one but it's a great place! Used to be my other 'living room' before "Rytmi-Katti" opened in Kouvola and I still go here every once in a while. :) Excellent selection of different beers & ciders, also some tasty food if you get hungry during a long evening in the pub! :) They play occasionally live music there.

Perhaps the most popular place to start the night at, it's very crowded there until about midnight when the majority of people make their way to other places. The prices are alright and the atmosphere is nice!
Illusion is a nice place to go even during the week (or in the middle of the day), just to have a cup of coffee and catch up with friends.

A very nice night club, I think it's the most popular one in Kouvola (not the cheapest one though). On most Fridays there is a band playing. There are two parts in the club - in the bigger one they play the latest ones dance hits and in the smaller part you can dance to Finnish pop music and the best classics from 70-80's.
I think the entrance fee is usually 7 euros (I don't have to pay as I have a vip card of the place, hehe), might be more when there's live music.

Diva opened in Kouvola in February 2002. A new club was very welcome and Diva turned out to be a quite good place but it's not somewhere I like to go every weekend... besides, the drinks are not that cheap! ;) They play Finnish music upstairs and mostly dance music downstairs.

Absolutely my favourite place to go here in Kouvola. You can start your evening in the bar upstairs and when the club opens downstairs, you can go there to listen to some live music (not every day but usually at least once a week). The prices are very reasonable! :)

Hmm... I wonder how this page will look like when I've finished it? So difficult writing about the town you live in (at least if it is as small as Kouvola, lol)! I have lived here since 1999 and spent...
I spent a little time in this town between train and bus connections. This is the city center to which you can walk straight up from the railway/busstation. There is this pedestrian shopping street......
If you go to Kouvola, the only really really "must" is to visit the great Spanish restaurant Olé. It is the best steak restaurant I've ever been to. The food is superb, especially the Pork Catalonia...
My grandmother lives in Kouvola. Actually there is not much to do in Kouvola, but I'm biased in saying this 'cause I'm from Helsinki
