The church in Kuusankoski was built in 1929 and has been renovated in 1988. The church is situated in the middle of the town and from the tower you can see the town in every direction.
There's place for 1269 people inside the church. The great acoustics offer a good base for different kind of concerts and events.
On weekdays from 10 am till 16 pm (only in summer) there's a guide in the church who'll tell you all about the history, architecture and arts of the church.

The new library in Kuusankoski was built in 2002. It's seems huge inside with dozens of book shelves, the area being 1891 m2. The library is located by the river Kymi, right next to Kuusankoski House (see my other Things to Do tip).

Kuusankoski-talo (Kuusankoski House) is the cultural center of Kuusankoski. Everything that happens in Kuusankoski, happens here. Built in 1985 Kuusankoski House is situated by the river Kymi. There are theatre, concert hall, cafe, art gallery and meeting rooms for all kind of occasions and also a movie theatre and a library on the premises.
