Favorite thing:
In Loviisa old town center you will find
an active market place the Town Hall and the Loviisa Church.
Those houses survived the 1855 fire. Not maybe so many shops nor narrow street views, but walking from the market place to the harbour through this area is nice.

Favorite thing:
Porvoo was born to be a trade center beside
the River Porvoo
before Helsinki was founded. The King of Sweden, Magnus Eriksson, granted the town rights in 1346.
The greatest man was however the Russian Czar, Alexander I, who granted Finland the autonoumus rights here at Porvoo in 1809.
Let´s forget the grumpy old swedes and russians, and go for an icecream to the riverside outdoor cafés!

Favorite thing:
The Jewel of Porvoo is the Old Town
dating from the medieval time. Walking here during the summertime or even winter is always fascinating.
Beside these small wooden houses where people are actually living, there are many small shops and boutiques.
The houses are not cheap to buy, if there´s even one on sale from time to time!

Porvoo is most known for it´s pittoresque
Fish Cottages
Actually they used to be stores for salt and other merchandise.
Hey, some people are actually living also here!
Just think, how romantic it could be during wintertime?!
In Loviisa you will find
beautiful wooden Old Houses!

Favorite thing: Everything in Loviisa is in a distance walking, so just rake it easy and stroll around the city. There is also the older part of the city with some very nice old building.
