Vanha Laamanni
(don´t even ask the translation) at one corner of the Porvoo Cathedral square is the place where the Porvoo Diet was held 1809.
Ha-haa, what a coincidence, nowadays the restaurant is acting very far from slimming diet! The café serves excellent cakes (try the blueberry one) and the restaurant offers modern but not so light cooking.
Here are some nice cafés in Porvoo Old Town. For true coffee lovers: Café Vanha Paahtimo is The place to visit.
Another one worth of visiting is Siltatupa.
The tiny but pitoresque Loviisa Harbour area nestles the
Café Saltbodan
Good place to have your Lonkero (AGAIN) here or a light salad lunch.

Café Saltbodan is one at the harbour, very cosy and nice terrace to sit in on a nice sunny day.
