Favorite thing: There are nice sunsets in Mustiala (and in winter I even get to see the sunsets if I start my classes at 8.00!). I this I was just experimenting with this photo, to see how my camera would work in the almost dark with no tripod, but I quite like the result.

Favorite thing: At night Mustiala is usually very quiet, except if students have "Iltamat", a student night once a month on a Wednesday, with a show, coffee and cake, dance and a drink or two in Iso Piippu..
This is the outside lamp of Pitkala (Pitkälä), one of the old buildings, where I usually stay. I like the reflection of the light in the window..

Favorite thing: As anywhere else in Finland, of course there are lakes in Mustiala: Mustialanlammi and Kaukjarvi (Kaukjärvi). In winter they are frozen (so for about a year I didn't notice them - they just looked like fields covered by snow). Swimming in the lakes is possible and there is a sauna by Mustialanlammi.
