Porvoo is an old city and so there are also many antique shops around. Most are in the old city but they are surely no good barging here as most of the items you can find else where in the better prices.

Brunberg has been producing very traditional Finnish sweets and chocolate in Porvoo since 1871.
I just love Brunberg's Kisses, which consist creamy soft foam in different flavours covered with a fine layer of chocolate (luckily Finnair sometimes serves them as dessert on the flights from Finnland).
But no need to say that everything else also tastes delicious!

The old market is in the old city main square. Actually I think it is very disappointing, not really much to look for buying, but it is a great place to hang around and for people watching.
