The old streets are very pretty to walk through. Lots of strange colored wooden houses.

Next to the riverbanks are the warehouses. Nowadays in use as antique stores but the used to be for storing goods, to be shipped off to the rest of Europe like salt and dried fish.

I sneaked a picture on the inside. This boat is to conmemorate a ship that has sunk somewhere.
You can see the white walls and the simple interior. The gallery was quite low which made a bit dark.

Its not possible to fit the cathedral on one picture when the bell tower is seperated from the actual church!

Porvoo has a wonderfull 13th century cathedral. This time of solid stone. We were glad that we reached it because it just started to rain.

A: As far as I know there is no dedicated bike toad between the cities, take the old road 170, signs are there, you cannot get lots.
