In summer time the tourist "Porvoo Museum Train" operates from Helsinki to Porvoo on Saturdays and departs at 10.15am and takes approx 1.5hrs.

Porvoo is situated just off the E18 highway and is approximately about 40 minutes drive 50km east from Helsinki.

Porvoo is very small and obviously you can walk and see everything by foot. Just be aware that in the old town its also old stone streets and you will not be very comfortable with high heels

try the flights through Expedia using Finnair. Around £250 from LHR. Top tip is the go with Ryanair to tallin (Estonia) and get the cheap ferry across to Helsinki.

This is very new sightseeing car-train, I am not sure about this tour quality or the price but as this old city is so small anyway you can really just walk anywhere in this place.

Yes, there is this service here and you can use it to take you around this city, very useful to use it on the stone streets of the old city, and you might even find it romanric :-)

A: As far as I know there is no dedicated bike toad between the cities, take the old road 170, signs are there, you cannot get lots.
