The Streets of Tampere, Tampere

Favorite thing: I was told that this was the area for wealthy locals.
As you can see there are no block apartment buildings, everything is compact and nice, behind the buldings is a pine forest, one can't hear the hustle and bustle of the center, but the latter is very close....
Yes, absolutely no show off.....

Favorite thing: And here is the view of a modern tower Nasinneula with a revolving resturant on the top. This pic was taken in the ordinary living area of Tampere, so you can compare the environment of the two almost neighboring places.... ;)))

Favorite thing: From the tower top one can admire beautiful views of Tampere and surrounding areas.

By the way, the district Pyynikki is very nice and quite unusual for an urbanist as I am, it doesn't look a city at all - no houses, only woods and nature around you.

Favorite thing: As many of you know there is usually a lot of snow in Finland during the Winter and Finns do a lot of winter sports and activites such as slaying, skiing and skating but as the snow melts some just can't get used to the new enviroments and still continue......

Favorite thing: It was already 2nd of May but signes of the passing holidays still remained.....

In the very center of the city on the bridge a huge metallic lady was wearing the sailors cap, a huge cap....
