UPDATE AT NOVEMBER 2009:THE SIGNS OF HELLÄ HAVE DISAPPEARED FROM THE FRONTDOOR-I´M AFFRAID THEY ARE CLOSED AGAIN!AT WEB-PAGE,THERE´S NOTHING NEW AFTER MARCH 2009
We have been here couple of times. We don´t like so much those girls dancing in the cages, but the music is good, and we have been here to see bands also.
If you have heard about drugs, they had there at winter 2007,(we didn´t go there after that),they had to close down because of that, but now there´s new staff, and we also thought, that we might go and see, what new people have done there.I think the problem must have been gone, because I´m sure, that police will do check ups there regurally now.
They have moved three times, but this is current location-I promise to cahnge it,if they will move again! :)
There´s a little pun in the name.Hellä is "tender"in Finnish,so it sounds so soft..But as you see from the sign, there´s also a joke fot those people that think that heavymetal is from hell.I surely don´t think so,but it´s a funny name.First everyone thought it was hella, witch is also Finnish word-meaning the oven. Many Finnish words cahnge the meaning,if you use a instead of ä or o instead of ö.
Dress Code: Anything black or lilac, maybe red also,if you want to fit in.My friend went in bluejeans and white pullover, and no-one seemed to pay attention-so don´t take it too seriously.
