They have a good selection of waffels, sweet or salty. You can eat them with ice-cream,or whipped cream-with jam or chokolate-sauce,or with smoken salomon or mushrooms, ghevre or taco-flavoured minced meat etc etc..
They have also so good sounding coffees, that I allmost feel like trying, even if I dislike coffee!!Also good value of teas of course.Or you can have hot chokolate.
The building itself is special. It´s the smallest stonehouse in Tampere.
Favorite Dish: I´m little boring with waffels..Maybe because we don´t go here so often anymore (my sister lived next to this, and then we went here often, but after she died,I have visited only sometimes) and I allways find myself ordering mine with whipped cream and strawberry-jam..
My husband takes allways the ice-cream-one.

If you like waffles, or simply wonder what it would be like to eat in Tampere's smallest stone house, then Vohvelikahvila is the place for you. This very cozy place serves all kinds of waffles (both sweet and savoury) and drinks such as coffee (duh!), tea, hot chocolate and gogli (mulled wine). We stopped there after a morning walk and found it was a great place to kick back.
Please note the cafe closes at 8 p.m., so it is not a place where you can hang out late.
