Buses from Helsinki (Vantaa airport) run regulary. Last bus arrives Tampere 03:45 am (2hr:30min trip)cost €18.00
Trains are very good, good connections north and to Helsinki, cost €21.00 to Helsinki one way.
Walk, you can walk across the city center 30mins. Buses and taxis are excellent.

there are many busses a day from Nokia to Tampere. I guess there must be busses from Helsinki and Turku as well, and also from many other cities.
