Vantaa City Museum is located in the old and beautiful ex-railwaystation building. They study and exhibit the history and culture of the area, local people and customs. Also some changing exhibitions. You can buy Vantaa postcards, literature and pins in the museum shop.

The river Kerava runs across Tikkurila village and looks rather nice especially in the autumn. There are some nice foot paths on both sides of the river inviting people to take a stroll.
