I enjoy much more special, historical and theme places than ordinary modern coffee houses. Immediately the feeling rises in the old environment. They might not have the same amount to offer in their "menu", but I can guarantee what they offer it is good.
This place also sells woolen handicraft and some other unique hand made souvenirs (limited amount).
The coffee house is located upstairs, and bigger groups (100-200 persons) may rent their premises for different purposes; parties.
If you stay at this place, you might consider walking down to the riverbank of narrow river "Keravanjoki" and enjoy the scenery there. I also suggest to walk by the river bank; the landscape is really beautiful and peaceful. I always "envy" those who have their house there, yard giving back to the river.
Unfortunately their web pages are so far only in Finnish.
Favorite Dish: I have many favorites; but if you like e.g. the home made thin pancakes with whipped cream and/or jelly, it somehow tastes so good. All their sweet sides to be eaten with coffee are delicious and home- and hand made.

A very easygoing place, Allu's Grill celebrates the racing careers of the F1 drivers Mika Hakkinen and Mika Salo. Allu was their first sponsor. The walls are covered with photos, banners, wreaths and other F1 memorabilia. You'll find the atmosphere is relaxed here.
Open mon-fri from 8.30 to 19 and sat from 10 to 18. Closed on sundays.
Favorite Dish: This is a very popular steakhouse. Just look at the pictures and you'll see. A side plate of salads is always included and also a cup of coffee or tea. You should try the "Haka Special" which was (don't know if it still is) the favourite of Mr. Mika Hakkinen, a former F1 world champion. If you are a vegetarian, however, you'll probably find the menu less satisfactory...

This place called itself Irish pub but you won’t meet any Irish people here. The only Irish thing here is some green colours and one Irish stout from the tap. But what is sold here is local lager and koskenkorva.
Well, anyhow, I was here on one hot summer day, but sitting outside in the terrace enjoying the warm Nordic sun

Gladly I can say that Wayne’s Coffee arrived to Vantaa. It is in Tikkurila centre in the pedestrian street. My kids were very happy I took them there the other week.
Favorite Dish: The coffee is good and some sandwiches are OK

There are about 10 Chicos restaurants around the South of Finland. This one is in Vantaa near Myyrmäki shopping centre.
It is not the best choice, but when there is no better solution, well, this one can be just fine.
Favorite Dish: The burgers or the fajitas are OK.

No doubt, one of the best Pizza places in Finland, a place where you can really get a good pizza to enjoy your eating. Worth to pay more here then the socking wet pizza we usually get around here.

Well, I don't really eat here, but during the summer when walking outside in the park & forest, I do stop here sometimes to sit outside in the terrace for a drink or two.
Favorite Dish: Nothing. Just a pint of beer.
