In Kitee Zoo you can see some examples of Finnish wildlife & also some domestic animals - bear, lynx, volverine, wild boar, etc etc.
Open every day in the summetime from 9 am to 8 pm.
Entrance fees: adults 10 €, children 7 €

First this church was made back in 1670, but during the periods of "Lesser Hate" and "Great Hate"(a kind of civil wars) the church was badly ruined. It was made again 1761, but it burned down in Midsummer 1876 by careless handling of fire(way you go, man!)
It was built(again...) 1886(architect F.Sjöström/Sjostrom), It was rebuild 1890.
Some renovations were done in 1968 and 1991.
There is room for 1500 people.

Like title said, in Kitee there is a longest miniature railway in Finland. I dont remember how long it is, but its over 200 meters for sure!
I do recall that it was superb for a young boy.

It's located in Finnish Karelia (if you know where it is:) As you can see, really small town and there is no real station... And the train-station is located about 7 km far from town.
