This is great fun. It's amazing how fast you can ride these machines. I think I was speeding at about 90 km/h. I loved it! Did you know that the handles of these things are actually heated so your fingers don't freeze. You can hire all the gear you need from the safari arranger and they give you training how to handle the snowmobile before letting you ride one. So it's ok for even beginners (I'm a good example of that!)

Is there is international sport event in Kuopio it is the ski jump of course. The winter season world cup ski jumping is passing here as well and broadcasted live around Europe. Often Finns also winning here, after all, the are known as the Flying Finns.

Finnish like sports a lot, they have a great success in most of them. For example, Paavo Nurmi had won 9 gold medals and 3 silver ones at the Olympic Games at the decades of 1920-30, he had also 31 world records! His statue is outside the Olympic Stadium of Helsinki.
Especially in winter sports, Finnish athletes are some of the best, they love these sports so much that they are skiing even without snow...
